2012 Northern Outlook Pegasus Fun Run/Walk Sunday 7 October Online registration are now closed. But, don't panic, you can still register on the day between 8.30-9.45am onsite. Cash only please.
No Bikes, scooters, skateboards, inline skates, balance bikes will be allowed on the course. This is a health and safety policy due to the large number of participants.
Prams/buggys can be used on both the 2.5km & 5km course. The 2.5km course is also suitable for wheelchairs.
Get your running shoes on and start training for the 2012 Northern Outlook Pegasus Fun Run/Walk. With three different course distances including 2.5km, 5.5km & 10km there is a track to suit every age and fitness level. Enjoy being part of an event that tracks by Pegasus lakes, weaves through the wetlands and through the forest tracks of the Tuhaitara Coastal Park, with stunning views across to the Canterbury foothills.
Make it a fun day out for the whole family soaking up the event atmosphere with live music and entertainment for the children including a bouncy castle, face painting and skate skool all whilst enjoying the onsite food and drink vendors or your own picnic basket.
Not only is this a family event but it is a great chance to get out from behind your desk, gather up your work mates, friends, suppliers or clients and book a corporate/group site by Lake Pegasus, here you can set up a marquee/gazebo, chairs and tables .Bring the chilly, eskie or the picnic basket and make a real day of it.
Over 2,300 runners and walkers turned up last year to participate in the inaugural event, so its only going to get bigger . You don't want to miss out!
